I was ashamed to learn the other day that Honey and I have apparently neglected a critical element of home decorating.Our house has no soundtrack.
According to this article in the New York Times, people are hiring music stylists these days to create a playlist that is in harmony with their home’s décor.
These stylists take the homeowner’s music preferences into account to some degree, but in the end it’s all about finding music that complements the house.
And to think we’ve been so ignorant as to play songs we enjoy all these years.
No wonder our place has never been featured in House Beautiful.
